BANG SHISHIGAMI - SPECIAL MOVES
Secret Art: Bang's Shadowstep Jutsu (A/B/C, during a drive attack while auto-guarding)
Bang guard points an incoming attack and retaliates on to the enemy's back. During any grounded Drive move, after successfully blocking an incoming attack, press A, B, or C to teleport a close, medium, or far distance. Most commonly used to avoid being counter hit out of your Drive by a follow up or to cross your opponent up.
Secret Art: Bang's Aerial Shadowstep Jutsu (A/B/C, during a drive attack while auto-guarding in mid-air)
Bang guard points an attack midair and teleports around the opponent. During any aerial Drive move, after successfully blocking an incoming attack, press A, B, or C to teleport a close, medium, or far distance. Most commonly used to avoid being counter hit out of your Drive by a follow up or to cross your opponent up.
BANG'S VOID TEMPEST KICK (623C)
Bang kicks the opponent skyward, knees them up higher, and kicks them back down to the ground. Don't let the name fool you, this is a command grab. Relatively short range, untechable grab. Extremely easily ticked into from Bang's jabs, but be careful, if you command grab them too quickly off blockstun, the grab will be pink and can be easily teched out of.
BANG'S VOID TEMPEST KICK EX (623C, in air)
Bang knees them skyward, kicks them down, and then proceeds to slam them back skyward using his palm. The aerial version of the previously mentioned command grab, and one of the only air-oriented command grabs in the game. Used to fuel Bang's famous tech traps, which is command grabbing your opponent after they aerial tech by reading their tech direction and already being there with an untechable grab to punish it.
BANG'S UNSTOPPABLE DOUBLE PALM THRUST (623B)
Bang locks his arms together and slams them into the opponent. Moderately slow start up, but a very strong combo starter and filler. If counter hit, fatal counters. Makes a good anti air if you read your opponent's low air dash.
BANG'S HEAVENLY DOUBLE PALM THRUST (623B in air)
Bang throws his arms forward and slams the opponent. Moderately slow start up, extremely unsafe on block, and almost exclusively combo filler. However, if you're feeling bold, it makes for strong rapid cancel gimmicks; play around with it, but don't get carried away.
Bang-Style Shuriken (236A/B/C/D in air)
Bang expertly throws various ninja shuriken's at his enemy. He only has 12. His A nail throws one poison shuriken at a 45 degree angle, on hit poisons your opponent for large damage, but if you are hit the poison discontinues. B nail throws one explosive shuriken at a 30 degree angle, bounces off the floor then explodes at roughly head level. C nail throws one web shuriken, which stuns your opponent and allows a combo. D nail throws three nails which have extremely high blockstun, very versatile in use (Warning, actually uses up 3 nails, so be careful)
DISTORTION DRIVES
SHISHIGAMI-STYLE SECRET TECHNIQUE: "FATAL ERUPTION" (2363214C)
Bang attempts to shoulder tackle the opponent, and if it connects, he punches twice, kicks twice, and then completely smashes the enemy into the wall. Most commonly referred to as "Daifunka", this is one of Bang's signature moves. Has high invincibility at start, but starts off moderately slow, so be wary of using it as a reversal. Finishes by slamming your opponent into the wall, no matter where you started from.
SHISHIGAMI-STYLE SECRET TECHNIQUE: "FU-RIN-KA-ZAN" (632146D, while the 4 icons are burning)
Once all four seals are unlocked, Bang uses the elements of fire, earth, wind, and forest to tap into his ultimate power. Bang's install super, which means once you activate this, your character is completely changed. All directional inputs are changed to very fast dashes, and can be used to cancel most of his attacks on block, creating some of the most intense mix up of any character. Be careful though, all dashes are a counter hit state. Very high risk, very high reward, always crowd pleasing.
Shishigami-style Ultimate Technique: "Steel Rain" (632146B)
Bang throws out an umbrella over the opponent that barrages the enemy with a rain of nails. Steel rain is a high risk super, as it uses 50 meter and all of your remaining nails. However, the more nails you have, the longer it lasts. The start up is unbearably slow, so use it sparingly. However, if you do land a steel rain, the damage you will usually get is incredible.
Shishigami-style Explosive Technique: "Bang's Unparelled Fighting Demon Fist" (236236D)
Bang creates an explosive aura which on hit, spins the opponent up into the air and they are cross slashed by bang duplicates. Starts up in the speed of a jab and is completely invincible until cooldown. A highly effective reversal, but be careful, on block, your opponent is able to recover faster than you if they know to down-tech, so you may end up blocking afterwards.
Astral Heat
Name (?)
Bang's truly legendary Astral Heat is performed in the air. Unknown to many, it actually functions as a guard point, and you can shadow step jutsu if you block a move; this makes it actually viable for deflecting a projectile and countering. Upon landing, Bang flies through Japanese doors and becomes even more animated than usual, rearing back his gauntlet to strike the nail that has already pierced his opponent and simultaneously burning all of his clothes off except for an undergarment that looks strangely like a chastity belt. Truth be told, words could never really capture this astral, if you haven't seen it yet you're missing out.
