JAB (LIGHT) PUNCH

     

Standing Light Punch is a solid attack to set up tick throws.

STRONG (MEDIUM) PUNCH

     

FIERCE (HARD) PUNCH

     

Crouching Heavy Punch is El Fuerte's go-to normal anti-air attack.

Diagonal Jump Heavy Punch is not only one of El Fuerte's best jump in attacks, it also doubles as a cross up.

SHORT (LIGHT) KICK

     

FORWARD (MEDIUM) KICK

     

ROUNDHOUSE (HARD) KICK

     

Use Diagonal Jump Heavy Kick to cross up opponents in the corner.

RUN (FORWARD)

QUARTER CIRCLE FORWARD + PUNCH 

Once you initiate the run you have many options. All distances on aerial attacks can be controlled with back or towards on the joystick.

  • STOP: LP
  • TOSTADA PRESS: MP (Overhead, Crosses up on wake up)
  • FAJITA BUSTER: HP (Throw)
  • BACK STEP: LK
  • GORDITA SOBAT: MK
  • CARAMALE SLIDING: HK (Low sliding attack)

 

RUN (BACKWARD)

QUARTER CIRCLE BACK + PUNCH

Once you initiate the run you have many options. All distances on aerial attacks can be controlled with back or towards on the joystick.

  • STOP: LP
  • TOSTADA PRESS: MP (Overhead, Crosses up on wake up)
  • PROPELLER TORTILLA: HP (Throw, can be ducked)

QUESADILLA BOMB

HOLD ANY KICK

  • Can be charged up to 3 levels.
  • Armor Breaking move.

 

 

 

GUACAMOLE LEG THROW

FORWARD, DOWN, DOWN-FROWARD + KICK

The Guacamole Leg Throw will catch airborne opponents, with the EX version being the most reliable. 

 

 

 

SUPER - EL FUERTE DYNAMITE

QUARTER CIRCLE FORWARD X2 + KICK

El Fuerte's super can be used to clutch out a match but he will typically want to use his EX meter for EX Run and EX Guacamole Leg Throw.

 

 

 

ULTRA 1 -  FLYING GIGA BUSTER

Distance can be controlled with the joystick.

Probably the most significant change to El Fuerte in Super is his new Ultra, the Ultra Spark. This attack has very fast start up and will punish many blocked attacks making it the preferred Ultra in many match ups.

Run, Stop, Fierce (AKA Daipan Loop)

[cl. Fierce xx qcf+P, jab xx Fierce] Continue as many repetitions as you would like and finish with any of the following options.

Habanero Dash into RH (Slide), Super, Cr. Forward Loop

Cr. Forward Loop

[Cr. forward xx habanero dash xx jab xx Cr. forward] Continue up to 3 repititions.

Shower Kick Combos

  f.mk xx jab (x3) xx cr. short xx cr. forward xx [[ You may continue this combo multiple ways]]

    • Cr. forward loop
    • Cr. forward xx habanero back dash
      • After this Habanero dash you may tostada press, picadillo jump, sudden stop, anything you'd like.

EL FUERTE - MATCH UPS - SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4

 

Abel

  • Marseilles Roll is beaten by throws, including Tortilla and Fajita buster

  • Wheel Kick should be punished by LK Guacamole Leg Throw

  • Falling Sky can grab El Fuerte out of Tostada Press / Fajita Buster / Tortilla

Akuma

  • EX Habanero Dash is a great tool to escape his sf.RH since it absorbs two hits.
  • Raging Demon can punish blocked (or even on-hit) Quesidilla bombs.
  • When Raging Demon is activated if you are in the middle of Tortilla throw and are in front of his head you will be hit by an ultra.

 Balrog

  • c. RH is a good attack against Balrog on his wake up. It beats back dash and can beat a lot of his advancing punches.
  • Tostada Press will beat Balrog's Headbutt, but only if it is a cross over.

Blanka

  • A blocked horizontal Blanka Ball can be punished by immediately habanero dashing towards him and sliding by pressing RH.
  • Tortilla Throw beats Electric Thunder and is the best response due to Tostada Press' inconstant ability to beat it.

Cammy

  • Cannon Spikes should be baited, habanero dashing torwards cammy and pressing short to feint is the best way to bait Cannon Spike.
  • LK Guacamole Leg Throw to punish Hooligan Balls

Chun-Li

  • If Chun-Li uses EX-Spinning Bird kick on her wake up neutral jump and air throw it. 

 C. Viper

  • Burning Kick is easily punished by lk Guacamole Leg Throw
  • Tortilla to punish all Thunder Knuckles
