Dive Kick that allows for extended pressure and combos.
(IN AIR) UP + H (73k)
Attacks at a higher angle than neutral jump H.
SPECIAL MOVES
Shield Slash - QCF+ATK (60k)
Shield Slash is useful within block strings as it hits from the front and also on return. The return attack has massive hitstun.
The Light Version acts as an OTG allowing you to follow up with additional attacks.
The Heavy version has juggle properties which allow for extended combos. Crouching H into Heavy Shield Slash will launch the opponent, allowing you to follow up with an air combo, or simply H Shield Slash xN. On some characters, you must add a jumping M Shield Slash every 5th throw.
Charging Star - QCB+ATK (100k/133k/162k)
Charging Star nullifies projectiles, making it useful for advancing on zoning style opponents. H Charging Star travels a little less than half way across the screen, the longest of the three. It is unsafe on block, so make sure to protect the recovery with an assist of some kind.
Charging Star is effective within ground combos and can be canceled into all of his Hyper Combos.
Stars & Stripes - F,D,D/F+ATK (80k/104k/135k)
An uppercut style attack that is invincible for a brief period, Stars & Stripes works well as an anti-air or to counter an offense with gaps. Can be comboed into, however Charging Star typically does more damage in most situations.
Back Flip - ATK+S (NA)
Captain America's back flip is useful within block strings to create mix up opportunities by passing through the opponent. It can be used to close the gap between the opponent as well, but keep it mind it does not posses any invincibility, and can be punished for a full combo anytime it is not protected by an assist.

Captain America's M Charging Star. The assist version of Charging Star does not nullify projectiles like the manual one.
STARS & STRIPES (108k)
Direct - Tilt Up
Captain America's H Stars & Stripes. The assist version of Stars & Stripes lacks the invincibility of the regular one.
SHIELD SLASH (108k)
Shot - Front
Captain America's M Shield Slash. With the unique double hit of the Shield Slash and its usefulness in extending combos, Shield Slash is definitely Captain America's assist of choice.
HYPER COMBOS
Hyper Charging Star - QCB+2ATK (274k)
A solid combo ender as well as invulnerable to projectile specials and Hyper Combos. Any hit at all against a projectile will result in the full damage.
This is a far more powerful version of his Charging Star special move. Captain America does a shoulder charge with his shield horizontally across the screen, inflicting hits on any opponent in his path.
Hyper Stars and Stripes - F,D,D/F+2ATK (290k)
Captain America's beefed up version of Stars & Stripes. With heavy invulnerability on startup, this Hyper Combo can counter nearly any physical attack.
Final Justice - QCF+2ATK (440k, lvl3)
Final Justice has no invulnerability, so make sure you limit its use to a combo ender.

TEAMING GUIDE
Captain America is a fairly straight forward character and does well on point. That said, having an assist with a fairly slow moving or multi-hit projectile can help him close the distance.
