Custom Combos in most cases allow you to chain together multiple normal moves in succession, and also cancel out of special moves allowing you to rapidly attack your opponent. Examples of this are A-Groove combos in Capcom vs SNK 2 and Genei Jin with Yun in Street Fighter 3.

In most games, Custom Combos have proven to be broken due to top tournament players being able to exploit game breaking glitches or overpowered combos.
