« iPlayWinner User Feedback: Registered Accounts & Community Blog »
So, I've been kicking around the idea of setting up a public blog on iPlayWinner where users with registered accounts can go willy nilly and post whatever they feel like. I am bit torn on what the focus should be because lets face it: if it's not used by our members then it's simply a waste of everyone's time! At the same time, I want our users to have the opportunity to voice their opinion to a large audience and not have to worry about their thoughts getting lost in an avalanche of comments and whatnot.
How do you guys want to put your accounts to use?
A couple ideas I had:
- Public Tournament & Stream Blog -- Post upcoming events and streams!
- Community News Blog -- Post whatever you feel like!
- Public Video Blog -- Post up dope videos you've found online or get feedback from your own match videos.
- Strategy Blog -- Post strategy articles for your favorite game or main character.
Whichever we settle on, the best and most relevant posts will be moved to the front page for more exposure. I was also thinking about implementing a module on the side bar so you can see what's new on the public access blog as well. There will be some very light moderation to prevent trolling and to maintain somewhat of a consistent style across the site but nothing too serious.
Either way, chime in with what you think you would get the most use out of and I'll see what I can slap together for you guys. If you think it's jsut a dumb idea to begin with, that's fine too! Any and all user feedback is appreciated.
Holla!
