This is a post on the SRK Sagat Forums that flew under the radar during the madness of the past few weeks. One of the top NA Sagat players, LI Joe, hit up the Location Test for SSF4: AE at Big Box arcade in Japan and has a few new things to say about Sagat. 

During the recent location tests, it was reported that Sagat's far Standing Light Kick is one again cancelable into special moves. This would be a huge buff for the character in that it was one of his main tools for pushing the opponent out once they got in, back in the Vanilla days. LI Joe is reporting that in the most current build, Far Standing Light Kick is not cancelable in any way whatsoever.

Disappointing news for sure, but lets hope the development team  comes to their senses and gives this property back to Sagat. That said, he currently has seen a few buffs -- most of which you may already know about -- in that his Light Kick Tiger Knee is much more safe now and Tiger Uppercuts also dish out a bit more damage as well. 

Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, he also thinks KOFXIII is bad ass.
