In Japan, Under Night In-Birth publisher Ecole and its Hydra GP competitive series announced an official team tournament dedicated to the game. This tournament will last in various dates around January until March 23!

Titled as -OVER THE WORLD-, this UNI team tournament will be on a 3vs3 format with no duplicated characters. Teams can participate in the main finals on March 23 after qualifying in one of eight preliminary qualification spots all over Tokyo starting in January. Tournament registration is 100 Yen.
If a qualifying spot has a low number of players, it will become a single man tournament with likely the winning player to choose their teammates.
Here are the six main qualifying spots:
- SEGA WORLD Arukas - January 27, 2:30 PM, One qualifying entry
- SEGA Ikebukuro GIGO - February 8, 2:30 PM, One qualifying entry
- SEGA Akihabara Building 1 - February 24, 2:30 PM, Two qualifying entries
- New Annex CLUB SEGA Akihabara - March 10, 2:30 PM, One qualifying entry
- SEGA Kagurakaza - March 16, 2:30 PM, One qualifying entry
- Club Sega Shinjuku West Exit - March 23, 12:30 PM, Two qualifying entries, Qualifier finals
