The next installment of season four at Southtown Arcade is this weekend with Saturday Night Snapback featuring Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition Ver. 2012 (5PM PST), Street Fighter x Tekken (1v1 with Gems) (7PM PST) and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (9PM PST)! The following day is Real Honest Sundays featuring The King of Fighters XIII (1PM PST) and Capcom vs SNK 2 (4PM PST)!
Yep, you read that right. We will be running ONE vs ONE Street Fighter x Tekken with Gems enabled this weekend. This is literally one of the only places in the country you can play the game in its intended form so be sure to check it out if you want the game to succeed. I will repeat that if you are a fan and you want to continue to see this game at tournaments in the future, come out on Saturday and support.
That said, we have a few strict rules in place regarding the Gem system so please read up on that by clicking here.
Next, did you guys enjoy NorCal Knock-Outs this past weekend? I know I did and I know a lot of players are dying to get in the next one. The easiest way to get invited to the next NCKO is to place high at Southtown Arcade Ranbats. STA Ranbat placement holds a lot of weight when it comes to this special invitational. We'll have more details on NCKO2 in the near future but for now come out and compete!
Also, word on the street is there will be bounties on a few STA players this weekend and possibly something very special in store for CvS2 players. Keep it locked to IPW for more details very soon!
