If you seen a couple of articles back, 3rd Strike is currently one of the top arcade games in Japan. It also returned for Tougeki -Super Battle Opera- this year. To help provide longevity, top players organized events including the national danisen league. This year, another special monthly event was introduced specializing in team battle.
Game Newton in Oyama, Japan is one of the major hotspots for 3rd Strike play and the home of the 3v3 3rd MANIAX team tournament series. This recording was from the second iteration in March. The best of the best including Boss, Tominaga, Nuki, RX and Yakkun were there to fight. The last scheduled event will happen on June 10. So if you are in Tokyo at the time and want to see the action, now you know where to go.
