Andria Sang posted up a few gameplay videos of the upcoming fighting game .hack//Versus straight from the Namco Bandai Japanese YouTube Channel. While I still doubt this game will make an impact in the competitive scene, I have to admit that screenshots don't do the game justice as it looks a lot better in motion.

What do you think? Willing to give it a shot or a bit too anime for your tastes? Does the free-roaming arena fighting gameplay interest you or do you see it as a gimmick?
