We took a little break after the madness that was EVO 2012 but we're back ready to hit it hard with Southtown Arcade Ranbats Season 5! We've made a few adjustments this season that we think everyone is really going like. Hit the jump for dates on all the upcoming tournaments and details on our new 3D night, No Mercy Fridays!

No Mercy Fridays -- All 3D All Night!

Over the past few months there has been a huge resurgence in 3D fighting games. With Soul Calibur V and Virtua Fighter 5, not to mention Tekken Tag Tournament 2 right around the corner, players have been coming out of the woodwork to compete. 

We want to show our support for the 3D community and are proud to announce No Mercy Fridays -- an all 3D fighting game night! We'll kick the night off with Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown at 7PM and finishing things off with Namco games (SCV, T6 and Tag 2 when it comes out) at 9PM! Don't side step this event -- come out and show your support!

Saturday Night Snapback - New Hours!

Last season players came from all over the Bay Area to compete in our Saturday Night Snapback tournaments which have gained a ton of momentum. We're back with another round, though this time it's going to be meaner and leaner as we've streamlined the games and adjusted the hours. Show up at 7PM for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition or drop by a little later at 9PM for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3! 

Real Honest Sundays - We knew that you'd.. be.. back!

Real Honest Sundays returns with only the most hardcore of 2D fighting games: The King of Fighters XIII and Capcom vs SNK 2! No changes to games or hours here -- just 100% beatdowns all day! Swing by at 1PM for some KOFXIII or 4PM for CVS2.
