A new batch of Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena screenshots surfaced over the past 24 hours and gives us a sneak peek at the various modes found in the game. Those of you who are big fans of the Persona series might want to check out Story Mode but those of us looking to get down to the nitty gritty might hop right into Challenge Mode.

Challenge Mode -- much like many other fighters out on the market now -- has various combos you have to complete to clear each one. It appears they range from the very simple to those that are much more complex.

If you feel you need to take a step back and learn about gameplay mechanics before busting out more advanced combos,there is also a Lesson Mode that goes over things like air throws and various ways to control your character.

Finally, you can hop online and get some netplay games in the Network Mode, though you might want to spend a little time customizing your character before then.
