We had a handful of out of towners at Saturday Night Snapback this weekend that really shook up the UMVC3 bracket. Jint from SoCal -- who plays a really wild team of Frank/Ryu/CapAm -- took first place though K Beast who came in second had a ton of amazing matches though out the entire tournament as well. Lets not forget Heroic either as this was his breakout tournament, taking out a ton of players and coming in 3rd overall!
Our very own SBA Harrison took first place in SSF4 -- using Cody of course -- with El Cubano Loco coming in a close second, destroying most of the competition with his Vega play. Carnby CL from Chile continues to make a splash at the Southtown Ranbats with his Rose, coming in at 3rd.
On Sunday things were a little light on the KOFXIII end with a few suspect absentees but the tournament still ended up being a blast with a ton of pop offs and great matches. Fixel grabbed his first championship win over El Gallo Negro this weekend in what was a very long and very tense set between the two -- not to be missed! K Beast, determined not to be a "fourth place monster" this weekend proved it by coming in 3rd!
In CvS2 Leezy came in first in what is his eight or so straight first place win at Southtown Arcade. Joe Dubbs continues to shake things up since he moved here from SoCal, coming in second over Lion X who had a ton of great matches as he fought his way out of the losers bracket.
