On Thursday, Dec. 12, the Philippines welcomes its first esports bar: The Imperium. Located in Metro Manila, the bar has invited some of the local gaming communities to come and participate in its grand opening festivities. AK, the third place finisher in this year's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Global Championships, will be at the event, as well as Garrett, a stand-out Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 player from the recent Homecoming tournament.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. PHT. Those not in Manila will be able to catch the grand opening online (2 a.m. PST, 5 a.m. EST) on IPLAYWINNER's Twitch.tv channel, with streaming provided by Offcast.
