Independent joystick accessories outfit PhreakMods initiated a special campaign at Kickstarter to help fund a second run of The Link quick release lever shaft.

The Link was created as a replacement of the Sanwa Denshi JLF shaft with the ability to remove it when not in use. This allows joystick bodies to be inserted into bags without the concern for the joystick lever poking. Even if The Link has proved successful, it needs money for another production run. It's currently looking for a $12,000 goal.
