« Iron Galaxy Named New Developer for Killer Instinct »

With the first season of downloadable content for Double Helix's Killer Instinct wrapping up with the release of Fulgore on April 9, Iron Galaxy Studios has been announced as the company to take over all developing for the Xbox One title going forward. This revelation comes after Double Helix's purchase by Amazon in February.

Talking with Polygon, IG's CEO Dave Lang said "This is an amazing opportunity to work on a game and a genre we are super passionate about." Lang also mentioned Microsoft approaching IG when the development of Killer Instinct was first being shopped, but that the studio had been unable to take the project at that time.
