« Brook Accessory Announcing Inexpensive PlayStation 4 Controller Board with Touch Pad Support »

Photo by JonyfrazeIf you want to get PlayStation 4 support for your existing or project arcade stick, a cost-effective solution is on the horizon.

Taiwan company Brook Accessory will be releasing a special printed circuit board with built-in PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 support. Dubbed the "Fight Board," it's priced at around $40 and features support for the PS4-based Touch Pad button, commonly found on Hori's latest line of Real Arcade Pro sticks.

Other aspects of the Fight Board include the lack of eight-minute timeout found on other controller PCBs featuring PS4 support, a built in SOCD cleaner, LED support and updatable firmware. The current build, planned for later November 2015 release, requires wires to be soldered onto the board. This can be great for modding projects or those who want to add PS4 support to their existing arcade sticks.

Brook Accessory's other products include specialized converters for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Plans for distribution in stores such as Paradise Arcade Shop are in the works so stay tuned. You can find more info about the Fight Board here.
