Networking hardware manufacturer D-Link has announced that it is now sponsoring Steve "Lord Knight" Barthelemy.

"We're thrilled to be the networking sponsor of @LordKnightBB, fighting game genius," the company said on its official Twitter account.

Bartelemy also sent out a tweet saying, "Happy to announce that I'll be the first fighting game player for @Dlink."

This is seemingly D-Link's first foray in sponsoring an individual player in gaming, but the company has always invited LANs and gaming events to apply for sponsorship from the company. As a networking sponsor, D-Link will be providing Barthelemy with its Ultra series of routers for his online gaming and streaming needs.
