Mr. Wizard has tweeted that the speculation about Evo 2016 games ends on Jan. 26, 2016, with the official announcement of Evo titles and hotel.

Wizard offered no more details about the announcement, including when or how it will be broadcast to the larger fighting game community.

He did, however, go on record on Jan. 11 to say that this year's Evo motto will be "Go big or Go home" which has left a large question mark as to what exactly he meant. Evolution 2015 held nine games over the course of three days, so if Evo 2016 will be a bigger event then players may be in for some surprises at the end of January.

Evolution 2016 will take place on July 15-17, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
