« BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle playable at upcoming events, gameplay details »
During Tokyo Game Show 2017, Arc System Works' Toshimichi Mori announced more details about the company's new fighter and revealed that a playable demo will be coming to several events.
While details about BBTB's system are still scare, Mori said the game is being designed so that anyone can play. The game's dashing mechanic is being changed from the traditional double tap to dash, seemingly for a hold-to-run style. The game will also feature a one-button guard crush, which will allow players to follow with a combo.
In addition, the game is being taken to four upcoming events—New York Comic Con, RTX London, South East Asia Majors and Arc Revolution Cup—during October where players will get the first chance to play the game.
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is schedule for release sometime in 2018.
