During a Japanese Tekken 7 event streamed on Bandai Namco's official Twitch channel, Soul Calibur VI Producer Motohiro Okubo appeared to announce that the game will be playable during Evo Japan 2018.

This will be the first time the general public in Japan will have a chance to try out the upcoming title. In addition, there will also be a Soul Calibur V side tournament held on Jan. 27.

Evo Japan 2018 takes place on Jan. 26-28 in Tokyo, Japan.
