Special Moves
QUARTER CIRCLE BACK + ATTACK
Roll charges her broom. All variations of this special are the same. When charged, the properties of her next special move will be changed. The charge animation is short, so it can be done in relative safety. It's always worthwile to have the broom charged as often as possible.

QUARTER CIRCLE FORWARD + ATTACK
A very simple attack that changes properties if Roll is charged. Roll attacks the opponent by swinging her broom like a baseball bat. It has only a short range and can be used in the air or on the ground, and all versions are the same. An uncharged hit will knock the opponent down wheras a charged hit will initiate a wall bounce. This move will also reflect projectiles.
ROLL SPLASH
FORWARD DOWN DOWN-FORWARD + ATTACK
Roll throws a bucket of water on the opponent. When uncharged the projectile travels at an arc. The button pressed determines the distance the water will fly with light being the closest to Roll and strong being the furthest. This attack is slow to startup so it's not a reliable projectile for offense, but it has some interesting properties: the projectile will cause stagger if it hits a standing opponent, and can also hit a downed opponent. If it doesn't make contact with anything before it hits the floor it will create a small puddle that fades away after a few seconds. This puddle hits low and will trip anyone who is hit by it, making it an affective annoyance for dash ins. When charged the projectile will fly straight across the screen and hit multiple times for decent damage, but it won't stagger or leave a puddle.
ROLL MOP UP
CHARGE BACK, FORWARD + ATTACK
After a brief twirl on the spot, Roll will rush forwards while cleaning the floor with her broom. Mashing the button will cause her to stop after a while and rapidly scrub the floor, extending the number of hits until she automatically stops. This attack isn't very safe on a standing opponent even when it hits, but it's designed for dealing damage to opponents who are knocked down. When charged this attack does improved damage and the scrubbing portion is significantly faster, allowing Roll to inflict many more hits on the downed opponent. This attack makes up a key component of Roll's offense, as she can slip it in at the end of any combos that knock the opponent down, including air combos that end with her air strong attack.
