NORMAL MOVES

Damage #s are (standing/crouching/air)

L - LIGHT (47k/45k/50k)

s.L and c.L are both rapid-fire attacks (can be cancelled into itself).  Damage scaling is severe in this game, though, especially with light attacks in combos.  c.L is a basic combo starter.

M - MEDIUM (70k/68k/70k)

c.M knocks down and briefly puts the opponent into a juggable state.

j.M will crossup on some crouching characters.

H - HARD (90k/80k/80k)

s.H will combo from a c.M.

c.H fires a missile and works well to use during block strings or against opponents who use push block.

j.H (neutral) zones very well, and can be flight cancelled into a small air combo on hit.

S - EXCHANGE

Don't let this get blocked...

SPECIAL NOTE

All of Iron Man's air attacks (except j.S) are double-jump and flight cancellable.

COMMAND NORMALS

UP + H

DOWN + H

Iron Man's H attack can be angled with either up or down.  The attack comes out at a 45 degree angle.

SPECIAL MOVES

UNIBEAM - QCF+ATTACK (81k/113k/130k)

A linear beam attack.  Average durability - will lose to a few beamers (Dr. Doom, Storm, Magneto, Taskmaster).  Can be used in the air.

REPULSOR BLAST - QCF+ATTACK (81K/102K/122K)

Anti-air and anti-teleport move.  Covers assist calls well.  The L version can be used in combos, and all versions can be cancelled into the Repulsor Spread.  

 REPULSOR SPREAD - QCB+H DURING BLAST (80K)

Cancels the recovery of any strength Reulsor Blast into a large sphere of energy around Iron Man.  At max range cancelling the Blast into Spread renders the Blast safe much of the time, and can also be used to punish attempts to counter the Blast.  Can be cancelled into Iron Avenger.

SMART BOMB - F,D,D/F+ATTACK (57K/84K/103K)

Iron Man's OTG-capable attack, this cancels into both of his Hypers.  Tiger Knee'd, Smart Bombs provide solid zoning.  You can air dash after them with M or fall straight down with H, and land a solid combo if either connects.

FLIGHT - QCB+S

Iron Man has great use for Flight in combos.  Air M and H can be cancelled into Flight for combos off of random air attacks, and Flight can be used for some impressive and damaging combos (see Combos section for a few examples).

Activating Flight, then pressing S to auto-unfly is a nice mixup, though it's a slittle slower than Magneto's.

ASSISTS

UNIBEAM (113k)

Shot - Front

Iron Man's M Unibeam.  Solid beam assist.

REPULSOR BLAST (122k)

Shot - Upward

Iron Man's M Repulsor Blast.  Excellent at dealing with teleporting characters and a solid zoning assist.

SMART BOMB (130k)

Shot - Tilt Down

Iron Man's H Smart Bombs.  OTG hitting, short range.  Probably not worth it over the other two assist choices, though if your point character really needs an OTG assist, it might be worth choosing.

HYPER COMBOS

PROTON CANNON - QCF+2ATK (276k)

Relatively slow to start, the Proton Cannon Hyper is a solid combo finisher.  The flash around Iron Man acts as a hitbox, allowing it to combo off any close juggle or ground hit.  Can also combo from OTG Smart Bombs.

ANGLED PROTON CANNON - F,D,D/F+2ATK (276k)

Performing the super with a DP motion will cause Iron Man to fire the Proton Cannon upwards at a roughly 30 degree angle.  Primary use would be as a THC to bring Iron Man in, if regular Proton Cannon would not combo.

IRON AVENGER - QCB+2ATK (430k, Level 3)

Immune to damage scaling, like all level 3 Hypers.  Travels almost all the way across the screen and can be comboed from OTG Smart Bombs, or XFC from a Proton Cannon.  Invulnerable for some time, and can punish poorly thrown projectiles.
