There are a number of relatively unknown entities here from around the globe; it will be interesting to see how they fare in this tournament, up against some of the best recognised players in the world. From the players we are familiar with, Group A looks like the group of death with Laugh and Yamazaki, two strong Ryu players, Yagami from Sweden sporting a souped-up Dhalsim and Ryan Hart, playing a multitude of characters. With an $8,000 first prize, competition in every group is going to be fierce. Second will pay $4,000 and third $2,000.
The group stages begin Thursday July 1st at Disneyland Paris, continuing on Friday. Group playoffs and finals will be held on Saturday. So far there is no information on a live stream.

Kara "Karaface" Leung gathered the thoughts of many Americans on this European event for Evil Geniuses, but what is most interesting is the response from GodsGarden organizer, Gamanoabura. Judging from the comments we have here so far, many of you will find his opinion on the event fairly interesting. You can check out the full article by clicking here.
