First off, they are giving away the QanBa Q4 RAF joystick at the Seasons Beatings raffle drive. This joystick has received rave reviews for dual-console + PC compatibility right out of the box, authentic Sanwa parts, and a low price point of $149.95.
Can’t make the event? Focusattack.com is offering stream monsters the chance to get either the black or upcoming white/red Q4 RAF joystick just by signing up for their store newsletter. Details are found on http://www.focusattack.com/sbvelocity_giveaway.

Products include joystick buttons, balltops, joystick repair parts, LEDs, apparel and merchandise. Price discounts will be reflected at checkout. With blessings from Eugene Andruszczenko (SRK’s 32Teeth and designer of the original Sparky PWM RGB Controller), Focusattack.com introduces the redesigned Sparky PWM. This is the first time that the Canadian-based product will be distributed by a US retailer.
The redesigned controller is now barely larger than a US quarter. That said, those familiar with adding LEDs to Seimtsu pushbuttons will be pleased to know that all of the Sparky’s highly programmable functions are intact. The controller is also compatible with the UILA series RGB LEDs, and for simpler operations with a white LED, the UILA Budget and Toodles KNSert. Lastly, the Sparky PWM comes with two wiring harnesses: one to control the RGB LEDs, and another to connect the buttons to the Sparky. To make the Sparky install totally solder-free if you choose, Focusattack.com will include small 3-port connectors for each button and power connection. The connectors allow you to insert wires into the ports to replicate an electrical connection.
Bryan of Paradise Arcade provides an informative video on how to install the Sparky to the pre-wired Uila LED. The Sparky PWM is now available for just $33.95 at both Focusattack.com and Paradise Arcade.
Coming in November, Focusattack.com will offer dual-modding enthusiasts the Paewang Revolution multi-console PCB from Joytron. This PCB has built in support for the two major consoles and PC, plus a built-in 10ft USB cable. Focusattack.com is also working with Paradise Arcade to develop a 5-pin wiring harness compatible with popular Sanwa JLF and Seimitsu LS series joysticks and a harness with quick-disconnects for buttons.
The Paewang Revolution will start at $39.95 for the PCB. Final pricing for the new harnesses will be revealed in the weeks to come.
In August, Focusattack.com ran the Double KO Giveaway 2 contest that awarded several prizes, including a MadCatz Round 2 TE, UIla LEDs, Seimitsu buttons and Sparky RGB LED controller. During the contest, players requested what they wanted most to buy. Joystick cases ran amongst one the top suggestions, and Focusattack.com listened. FoeHammer - makers of professional-grade, high-quality wood joystick cases - has teamed up with Focusattack.com to offer their popular DIY case. Constructed of solid poplar wood and smoothed to perfection, the cases are easy to paint and customize. The DIY also features a flared home/guide, select and start button space in the front of the joystick, plus a Neutrik USB/RJ45 port. An 8-button Vewlix style layout tops the joystick, complete with acrylic-top for artwork, and a clear acrylic bottom to show off your joystick’s internals. The FoeHammer DIY case will retail for the low price of $59.95 and ships immediately in a secure bubble-wrap enclosure.
If you’ve held off picking up one of those SINIX SSF4 Arcade Edition pins, now is your last chance. SINIX has officially retired the SSF4 line. You can still purchase your favorite fighter in cute squashed form for just 99 cents each. After that, they are gone forever.
All hope isn’t lost, however. SINIX has just released their latest line of pins for Street Fighter III Online Edition! These limited quantity pins feature all of the new challengers such as Gill, Elena, Q, Twelve, and Remy. Returning favorites that made it into SSF4 such as Ibuki and Dudley are also here and redesigned with added color and detail. At just 99 cents, the new pins won’t last forever.
For those who build their joysticks from scratch, colored wiring and quick-disconnects is always a necessity. Focusattack.com puts them both together - you can get a pair of 1m (3ft) of wire in one of 8 colors complete with quick-disconnect in either .110 or .187 size for just 99 cents. You can also get the entire 8-color set (16 wires) for just $7.25. The quick disconnect are housed in a vinyl connector sleeve for protection. Great stuff for your button or joystick projects.
Finally, they have in stock extended plexis for MadCatz TE Round 1 & 2, plus Hori EX Pro and Qanba Q4 RAF for just $13.95. The extended plexis remove the border on a TE joystick, allowing more space for artwork. Those wanting to replace the stock artwork with their own style will love the price.
