Back at EVO last year, it was announced that for the first time ever, EVO would be making its way over to Japan. It was originally intended to kick off late last year, but it was pushed back and not much was said about it after its delay -- until now (or yesterday), at least.

MrWizard officially announced EVO vs GodsGarden over on Shoryuken yesterday evening. The landmark event is set to take place May 6-7, and winners of the Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6 tournaments will secure themselves round-trip airfare to Las Vegas for this year's EVO.
