« MVC3: Alternate Costumes & Shadow Mode Released Today, Video Showcase of Alternate Costumes »

As many of you know, the first set of alternate costumes was released today along with Shadow Mode for Marvel vs Capcom 3. The alternate costumes are for Captain America, Iron Man, Ryu, Chris, Dante and Thor. I went ahead and put together a quick video showcasing all the new alternates which you can check out below. Yeah, I know, my Thor sucks. Hah!

Anyway, I think this batch of alternates are kind of hit or miss. Iron Man and Dante's are pretty cool but honestly can't tell too much of a difference with Chris's and Thors. Either way, I think this is a nice addition to the game and looking forward to the next batch.

I also tried out Shadow Mode and was going to upload a video but there isn't much to show to be honest. I tried the opponent with the highest difficulty and the CPU on Very Hard is more of a challenge than the Shadow Mode opponents. As far as I know there are more on the way so maybe this will change, but I don't see why people would spend time with Shadow Mode when you can just hit Player Matches or grind it out in the Danger Room.
