EGM[i] just published their newest digital issue featuring a monster eight page preview of Soul Calibur V! They interview the series producer, Hisaharu Tago and the game's director, Daishi Odashima. While many of the questions are fairly straight forward, the answers to said questions in many cases are anything but. Particularly interesting is their take on the differences between Eastern and Western game development and their thoughts on the Street Fighter IV series. They mention the Japanese pay close attention to the finer details which are important when developing a fighting game, and that Street Fighter IV is a more interesting game than the (arguably) more refined Super Street Fighter 4.
