« VF5:FS: First Kakutou Shinseiki VI Qualifying Tournament (Tokyo A) Replay »
Akai from VFDC sent over some Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown replays from the first Kakutou Shinseiki VI (KSVI) qualifying tournament in Japan that went down over the weekend. Rather than butcher the explanation myself, check out what Akai had to say about it and what to look forward to in the future:
The weekend that just passed by officially began the preliminary qualifying tournaments (from January 14th, 2012 to March 4th, 2012 ) for Kakutou Shinseiki VI (KSVI). KSVI is a national Japanese Virtua Fighter (VF) tournament held by Sega since the original VF4 game. The main event will be held in March (exact dates have not been determined).
Sega will be streaming live a total of 7 KSVI preliminary qualifying tournaments. The first one (Tokyo A) was streamed on Jan. 14th (link to an archived video of the event http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/19751686 ). Shiwa (Pai) won that event.
