During Capcom's Comic Con Panel Yoshinori Ono announced that Capcom is currently working on Street Fighter X Tekken Ver. 2013 a complete rebalance of the tag team fighter featuring characters from Tekken.

Details from Ver. 2013 were featured in an article by Japanese website 4Gamer. The normal throw speed has increased from seven frames to five, the anti-air moves for the Tekken case has improved, slower health recover, altered boost combo camera, red health now more distinct, and the gems' graphical effect on a players has been modified.
