« Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown Confirmed to Have Replays, Eight Player Lobbies & Voice Chat »
Andria Sang is running a story that confirms that Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown is indeed being released in Japan for PS3 and 360. Big surprise.
What's more interesting though is they give us a peek at what SEGA has in store for the online and single player modes. As many of you know Virtua Fighter 5 had some of the most solid netcode of this generation but the functionality left a lot to be desired.
In the latest revision of the game though you can expect a replay save and upload feature not to mention eight player lobbies and voice chat. Spectating has not been confirmed but lets cross our fingers it's part of the package as well.
For single player modes they mention a console exclusive License Challenge and Training Dojo modes.
The game is set for a Summer 2012 release.
