« KOFXIII Climax: Character Ratio Tournament Planned for June 23rd at Shinjuku Playland Carnival »

Professor over at MMCAFE posted up about an interesting KOFXIII Climax character ratio tournament that will take place June 23rd at Shinjuku Playland Carnival -- one of the KOFXIII hot-spots in Tokyo.  Some of you may remember similar tournaments taking place at Arcade Infinity (R.I.P.) for the arcade version of vanilla KOFXIII to prevent stacked teams of Raiden, K and whoever else.  

The ratio or weight of each character is determined by the popularity of said character which in turn can be seen as a loose tier list. Each ratio class has an assigned point value and players will have 6 total points to form a team. 

Professor mentions that the breakdown of the roster is already getting criticism from the players. The fact that some stronger characters are placed in lower ratio classes just because they aren't used as much as some others makes it pointless to pick certain characters in higher ratio classes even though they are more popular.
