If you guys been checking out Super Turbo recently, player Kuroppi is coordinating the ultimate all star tournament featuring players from all around the world. One of the last qualifiers is going to be at Southtown Arcade this weekend!
The tournament qualifier will be on Saturday, June 16 at 2:00PM for signups and the actual tournament starting at 3:00PM sharp. Entry fee is $20 with (payout: 1st - 65%, 2nd - 10%, 3rd - 5%). The tournament format will be double elimination with best 3/5 matches with grand finals at best 4/7 matches. Of course, Akuma is banned. In terms of setups, they will be played on two head-to-head setups on Japanese cabinets. You cannot use your own sticks. Arcade only!
First place winner will be qualified to participate in the Tournament of Legends finals at this year's EVO along with other greats such as Damdai, Afrolegends, Tokido and Nuki.
