« Virgin Gaming Expands Fighting Game Selection With Mortal Kombat »

NetherRealm Studios' ninth Mortal Kombat game joined the Virgin Gaming competitive program.
Mortal Kombat has been added onto Virgin Gaming, a competitive video game service where players can compete online against others to win cash. Players can play on either Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 of Mortal Kombat and will have to compete against others through King of the Hill.
Similar to Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Ver. 2012, the first fighting game to premiere in the Virgin Gaming system, players have access to quick head to head matches or can compete in a tournament league.
Rules regarding downloadable content, including extra characters or compatibility packs, have not been mentioned.
