With the upcoming NorCal Regionals set for Sacramento, Calif., we will be posting news and events from the local scene starting off with one of the region's tournaments.

Capitol Fight District will be returning to the Arcadia Bar & Resturant for the second time on Feb. 8, 2014. Just a couple of minutes away from downtown Sacramento, CFD will be running Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Ver. 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Injustice: Gods Among Us, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma and Killer Instinct (if possible).

Players from all over Sacrmento as well as surrounding areas including Davis and Fairfield come to CFD and if you are in the area, please come by! Along with a stream on Twitch, local media outlets including Access Sacramento and Sacramento News & Review will be there to cover the event.

Hey everyone! This is our second tournament at Arcadia, and it may be the start of a weekly event here for us. We will be running AE, UMVC3, IGAU, KI (hopefully), and BBCP. We would also like to add Melee to the list of games, so please let us know if there is an interest.

Arcadia is a new family operated restaurant that has some arcade cabs and a pool table. The owner is a fighting game fan, and has invited us to come out to host events! When you are not playing in the tournaments, play the MvC2 and KI cabs.

We are working on converting to XBOX360 setups for the Capcom games to help people get ready for EVO, but we need some more time. In the meantime, the setups will be mixed.

If you bring a setup, we will waive your venue fee, and give you a raffle ticket. We will buy dinner for 3 people that bring setups as our way of saying thank you for helping out!
