The newest Killer Instinct concludes its second season with more new content available for owners of the game.

KI Season Two's big draw in update 2.8 is a new story mode called Rivals Mode. Previously teased at Penny Arcade Expo East, Rivals Mode fleshes out the stories of the S2 characters with narration and stylized cinematics. Aria will get her retro-style costume and players can select her as an announcer. Bug fixes to various characters are also included in this patch.

The 18gb update is available now for owners of all versions of Killer Instinct on Xbox One.
