« Tekken 7 Receives Wider Release in Southeast Asia, Oceania »
While Tekken 7 has been officially released in Japan since March, the game has only seen limited release outside the game's home country.
That all changed on on Sept. 24 when Tekken 7 officially launched in countries such as Thailand, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. Tekken-Net is not yet online in those countries—it launches Oct. 6—but this is the first major expansion of availability for Bandai Namco's new fighter.
While this alone means nothing for U.S. players, hopefully Tekken 7 is one step closer to getting a wider, official release in the West.
