« Tusk Returns to Killer Instinct in Season 3 »
Tusk will be joining his Killer Instinct 2 associates Kim Wu and Maya as part of the new Killer Instinct when he is added to the cast in the upcoming Season 3. Tusk was announced by Microsoft Studios' Adam Isgreen at the end of a recent KI tournament.
Isgreen's announcement leaves only the original two boss characters from the Killer Instinct series, Eyedol and Gargos, as not currently taking part in the KI revival. However, while the inclusion of Omen, Herald of Gargos, seems to almost assure the gargoyle's presence in the game eventually, Eyedol is not as likely.
"Eyedol is tough," Isgreen said. "It’s like this weird Harryhausen monster with satyr legs and a giant club and he had like two moves and he was super cheap."
While that is certainly not a definite denial that fans will ever see the KI1 boss ever again, it doesn't look good at this point for the club-wielding, double-headed cyclops.
