« New Killer Instinct patch changes league scoring, fixes bugs »
A new patch for Killer Instinct is bringing new scoring to Ranked League play and fixing a couple issues with game bugs.
The biggest news in the patch is the changes to scoring in online Ranked Leagues, as matches are now best two out of three on Gold and Killer tiers. As the sets now take longer to complete, points given for winning (and those subtracted for losing) have been increased and the points a player needs to lose to rank down have also been adjusted.
The other changes in the patch include small fixes for Glacius and Kan-Ra, as well "service improvements" for cross-buy and a note to update both versions of the game.
