The main villain of Final Fantasy III is joining the cast of the Dissidia Final Fantasy and its upcoming PlayStation 4 counterpart.

Cloud of Darkness fights with its two tentacles, which give it much longer melee reach, as well as several powerful magic attacks including one that seems like a counter of some kind.

Cloud of Darkness is the third character announced as part of Square Enix's plan to roll out a new Dissidia character for every month from August through November. Jecht and Ultimecia have also been revealed for the title.

Readers can check out the Cloud of Darkness trailer below. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 4 console in early 2018.
