Senko no Ronde 2 coming summer 2017 to PC, PS4

G.rev's combination of a shoot-em-up (shmup) and fighter is receiving a numbered sequel.

Originally released in Japanese arcades in 2005, Senko no Ronde featured combat that seems reminiscent of a 2-D version of Gundam Versus or Virtual On. The game heavily featured projectile-based combat and players could fill the screen with bullets and lasers like in many modern shmups.

Senko no Ronde received a port to the Xbox 360 and was released as Wartech: Senko no Ronde in North America in 2007.

Degica Games has released a teaser for the game, which will be coming to both the PlayStation 4 and Steam platforms. Readers can check it out after the jump.
