« CVG Interviews Ed Boon on Mortal Kombat »
ComputerAndVideoGames.com swooped up a chance to get a small interview with Mortal Kombats Co-Creater, Ed Boon. These are not the typical questions you would see with a highly anticipated game coming out.
CVG.com asks questions on how is NetherRealm going to keep the old school feel of Mortal Kombat, how are they going to raise the bar of gore within the game, and why Mortal Kombat has stayed alive for so many years.
"Are you looking to shock in the same way that the first Mortal Kombat shocked folk? Is that even possible?
No. I don't think people are shocked by that stuff any more; it's such a different world, you know. You have God of War, Gears of War, Call of Duty, all games with plenty of violence, but it doesn't serve the same function that it did fifteen years ago."
