« Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Announced »

Warner Bros. Interactive announced this morning that a downloadable 'Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection' will be coming to Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC. As the name suggests, the 'Kollection' includes an arcade-perfect port of the first three Mortal Kombat games -- UMK3 included, of course -- complete with online play and leaderboards.

“We are very excited to finally have the first three Mortal Kombat games available in one download package for long-time and new fans to play,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios. “With the release of our 2011 Mortal Kombat, and its return to 2D game play, players have been asking for these classic titles and we are happy to deliver them.”

GameStop will be offering an exclusive, limited edition 'Klassic' version of the PDP fight stick around the time the game launches later this year. The stick is designed to look like the original MK cabinet, button colors and all. The stick will run you $129.99 and includes a code to download Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection.

Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will set you back 800 Microsoft Points (or $10) when it's released "late summer 2011". Are you guys excited to be able to play the original three titles again on your console of choice?
