« AquaPazza Coming to Arcades Next Month »
Aquaplus made an announcement over on the Aquaplus blog earlier this morning announcing that 2D fighter AquaPazza, originally slated for a Spring release, is headed to arcades in Japan sometime around mid June.
Anime-style fighters may not be particularly popular, but is anyone planning on trying this if and when it sees a console release?

I can't wait to get this for PS3.It's like Arcana Heart 3 with a budget.
Am for sure... and aren't all 2d fighters anime-style eh? Trying to deny it is kinda bullshit ;d
well little correction, almost all of them... there are obvious ones which aren't ... like Mortal Kombat
@cool Yeah, for the most part. People still like to make the distinction, though.
I am going to be all over this game when it comes out for console.
Anime fighters are popular, just not the doujin ones. I have to be suspicious of any fighting game's intentions when most of the characters are scantily clad women. What kind of statement is that? Who is their audience? It's hard to pick a likable character when they're all high-school stereotypes.
Generic anime brawler with terrible character designs, crap gameplay mechanics and flashy nonsense effects.
Pass.
WE IN THERE!!!
If the game turns out to be pretty good i'll be sure to try it at least for a month or so when console version comes out. If it has nothing special i'll continue to stick with Blazblue, street fighter, and alittle Arcana Hearts.
This is a real anime i have the box set of it. its good too.
