« Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown Pre-Launch Party Interview with Sega's Patrick Riley »
Myke from VFDC has published a nice pre-launch party interview with Patrick Riley, Director of International Product Development at Sega. Over 30 community-submitted questions were answered. Some of the highlights include elaboration on the game's replay saving to the cloud, features of the XBLA Demo, as well as other features that they would have liked to include but couldn't due to time or budget. Below you'll find a sample, but head here for the full interview! Image courtesy of Level|Up.

Are there any plans, or possibilities, of releasing additional items via DLC after the initial packs at launch?
Bad news: no. Good news: everything is in there already! With these kinds of things we say "never say never", but there are no plans right now.
What is the reasoning behind not being able to see other people’s customisations if you haven’t bought the DLC?
Compatibility packs were looked into, but couldn’t be done for reasons that can’t be fully disclosed (mainly around 1st part regulations).
Are there any chances for a portable version of VF, perhaps on the Vita?
Nothing to announce.
Which characters will be in the demo?
To confirm, the demo will only be available on XBOX 360. Also it will include some Training mode functionality, Score Attack mode, and characters Jean, Taka, Sarah and Jacky will be playable. (Exclusive #3!)
