While U.S. Killer Instinct players have gotten a preview of the new balance and content coming in the new season of KI, the rest of the world will get its hands on TJ Combo and Maya on Oct. 15. In a new season 2 trailer from IGN, the team at Iron Galaxy also teases eight new characters through shadowy silhouettes.
The good news for fans of the Killer Instinct series is that Riptor and Cinder are definitely two of those characters, as confirmed by Microsoft. When fans and players will see them, however, is another story as while Combo and Maya release with the season the rest of the new cast will appear on a one-a-month basis starting in November.
The latest season will also include a graphical boost from 720p to 900p resolution.
The rest of the Season 2 content—updated balance, enhanced combo system and improved interface—will all be available on day one, with updates to come as the rest of the characters are released.
