« Killer Instinct Community Fund Announced to Help Tournaments Through Player Sales, Access to Shadow Jago »
Iron Galaxy Studios and Microsoft are planning to help future tournaments with a special funding drive.
The Killer Instinct Community Fund is a new initiative planned to add bonus prize pot to the existing winnings in fighting game tournaments holding the game. Starting after Cinder's Ultra Edition availability on April 30, all sales in KI such as gold, full game packs and more will go towards the KI Community Fund. You can check out a video of the drive featuring KI creator Ken Lobb below.
The game will have a special package deal where players can get access to Shadow Jago and 7500 KI Gold for $20. While Shadow Jago at this moment is a palette swap of Jago, the character will be fully developed as a new character if they reach their $100,000 goal. Shadow Jago was initially available for Day One owners of the Xbox One and other promotional events such as EVO 2014. He will only be available from April 30 to May 14.
More information about the KI Community Fund can be found on the game's official forum.
