« Rash from Battletoads Joins Killer Instinct, Season 3 Announced »

Killer Instinct will be getting a third season of content, and Rash will be part of it when the season starts rolling out in March 2016. In an announcement during Gamescom, it was revealed that the Battletoad will be joining the playable cast in Killer Instinct and that starting on Aug. 4 players will get to test the character during a public trial period.

For one month, from Aug. 4 to Sept. 8, players who have purchased any Killer Instinct content or who own Rare Replay will have access to the toad and his array of attacks based on the classic action franchise. From his ram-headed attack to the wrecking ball and even a speed bike from the Turbo Tunnel, Rash will bring 2-D hurt into the 3-D fighter.

The KI team is quick to point out that Rash's look and moveset is not yet complete, however, and may be subject to change after the test's completion and before he rolls out in Season 3.
