Art of Fighting soundtrack available for preorder

Brave Wave Productions is preparing another classic video game soundtrack for fans to enjoy on their home stereos. 

The fifth project in Brave Wave's Generation Series, Art of Fighting will include the game's music in the "highest possible quality in direct collaboration with SNK." The product will also feature artwork from SNK's archives, an interview with series staff Yasuyuki Oda and Youichiro Soeda and an essay discussing Art of Fighting's relevance in fighting game history by former executive editor at GameSpot and current SuperGiant Games writer and director Greg Kasavin.

Soundtracks for Art of Fighting 2 and 3 will follow in 2018.

Readers can preorder the soundtrack on either vinyl or compact disc at Fangamer.

Art Of Fighting & Samurai Shodown II Tournament Videos From Takadanobaba Mikado Game Center

SNK video archive user ImbuedGold returns with some older SNK fighting game tournament videos from Sept. 2013!

The first video tournament set of the original Art of Fightingwhile next pair features Samurai Shodown II. They are played from Japanese arcade Takadanobaba Mikado. Even if they older fighting games, make sure to check out the videos after the jump since they are of wonder!

Japanese Art of Fighting Video Featuring Ryo Arcade Mode Playthrough & Match Footage

YouTube user ImbuedGold uploads footage from a variety of games including The King of Fighters XIII Climax and Garou: Mark of the Wolves. This time he has uploaded a special blast from the past.

The video after the jump is from Ryuuko no Ken aka Art of Fighting for the Neo-Geo. This was ripped from a special gamest VHS, a video that features character overviews, various high-level matches and even some bonus content. For this video a full arcade mode playthrough of Ryo Sakazaki is one of the many featured sections. You get to see some other characters including King, Robert Garcia, and Mr. Karate who are featured in KOFXIII.
