It's nice to see some video of the arcade version in action. But I hope we get some footage from Chaos Code's loke test. I know not a lot of people know about that game, so it'd be nice if we can have something to hype them up about it. Some new screenshots dropped today, but that's all I can find.

it would be funny if it were 2 brand new characters like hakan/juri. like some random names like brittani and peter lol.. but at the same time it wouldnt be funny cause i really want r. mika and rolento. juli and juni would make me the happiest man alive..

I'd forgotten about CC for a moment. For everyone else, it's from the same folks behind SCWU (a lulzy, yet halfway-serious freeware fighter that I enjoy the hell out of), so if you played/liked that game, this should be up your alley.
Going back to SSF4, Rolento/Eagle would be awesome. I'd also accept Birdie, Q, Oro or Urien (Or all of them. Come on Capcom, you can squeeze another four slots onto that character selection screen.).
Now for the stupid idea: I remember reading back when they were showing off the new alternates for console Super about how the sound guys were making new, distinct sound effects for 'Gief's new alt. So I had this thought: Why not make "Mech Zangief F" a separate character? Discuss/flame/lol as you please...

As much as I like Urien, he wouldn't fit AT ALL in SSF4. He uses his reflector super WAY too much mid combo (sometimes up to three times in a combo) to be viable in SSF4's engine.
I'd love to see Eagle, Birdie, Q, Alex or Rolento in the arcade version...And Karin looks pretty cool there, Tony.
Wow. Two new characters. Seriously. Anyone would be appreciated. Im sure people want their favs, but capcom has already provided us with so many characters. Idk who would be cool anymore. Id love some 3s. Q, Urien (Urien always reminds me of Seth. When it comes to looks), Karin.. Since Sakura mentions her in street fighter 4. R. Mika has a good chance to be in there. Since Ono has wanted her in the cast.. Since Vanilla. =] I cant wait for the arcade.

You don't see ARCsystems or SNK jerking us around. They told us their characters fast as hell. Even though that's about the only thing i like more about them than CAPCOM.
TL;DR.....I want Rainbow Mika and Elena. There's already enough of a sausage party in SSF4. All that sexy would round out the cast very nicely. Especially Mika.

Also. I'm hoping that the balance is being taken into consideration here.
I mean we all have to admit that aside from some unacceptable lapses in a few characters, (yes i'm talking about Makoto and Hakan, and Gen too), the balance is really good.
Hope these new characters aren't overpowered or more likely, created just fine and then nerfed to hell cause CAPCOM got scared.

Judging by the placement of the characters, I really expect it to be 2 brand new characters. On the other hand, that Karin picture looks reeeeally believable. I'm sure not going to make any bets until later. Probably until they just straight up tell us who it is.
p.s.- Inevitably, sometime after these characters are in the arcades they will be made DLC. We all know this. Captain Obvious to the rescue.

I hope it's Urien and Rolento... I hope they make add 3 new characters at least 1 being original so itll round off to 40 characters.... thats a mad roster already...
That Karin picture is a fake from like 10-10-2009.....
The rumor is that 7 characters are in the works for DLC, and at Comic-Con, they'll be showing off Alex and Rolento. 7 PSN avatars were recently released, and Alex and Rolento were in them. The others showcased Hugo, Elena, Q, R. Mika, and Charlie.
I doubt that they add more 3S characters as they are not fitting well in the current roster. I mean even the alpha characters don't do so well. Because the characters are being kept to close their other engine. But I do like the new balancing but it is a bit off. It is too hard to fight the match ups. So some touch ups are needed. But I don't think they announced the characters yet as they may consider adding more depending if they get the balances right. Because 2 months is a bit long to announce characters that they already know.
